PKO Bank Polski

PKO Bank Polski

A render for the Metaverse version of PKO Bank Polski’s Rotunda building in Warsaw

The first branch of PKO Bank Polski in the Metaverse is now live!

Working with PKO Bank Polski was a real treat for the team at Future is Meta. We constructed them a virtual representation of their iconic PKO Rotunda building, which is located in Warsaw, but with a FIM twist. The building flys 10 metres off the ground with an elevating platform which takes you up through the centre of the building and up onto the roof.

Upon arrival to the plot, you are greeted by a friendly robot who guides you through the different activities you can do in the scene, including a coin pickup game which guides you through the different levels of the building.

In the centre of a scene another robot can be seen roaming around the base of the building, circling a the PKO Bank Polski logo, which also acts as a teleporter to take you up to the second level.

To accompany the building we also featured a selection of paintings of the bank’s very own collection including beautiful pieces such as the Chel nel destructo by Zbigniew Makowski and Cień kolegi (A shadow of a friend) by Jarosław Modzelewski. Each piece is accompanied by a description about the artist.

Alongside the paintings, there is a display of credit cards designed by PKO Bank Polski flying through the centre of the scene as well as larger graphics depicting each design alongside descriptions.

Be sure to experience the scene yourself in Decentraland by following this link.

It is only the first step on a long way towards building a sustainable Metaverse experience, but the bank already sees the potential of bringing more services to this channel.

In the next months we will be launching more games and special attractions - stay tuned!
